Recreational Coach Application
Coaches are an appreciated and necessary part of Titusville Soccer Club! Coaches hold practice twice a week and get to choose the days and times. All U10 and below games will be played at Chain of Lakes. U12 and above will play half their games at Chain of Lakes and half of their games at local Brevard Soccer Clubs.
All coaches are required by FYSA and Brevard Parks and Rec to complete risk management prior to receiving their rosters. Risk management resets in July, therefore all coaches will need to complete risk management for the fall season.
Risk management includes: background check, fingerprinting, Heads Up Concussion training, and SafeSport Training. All of these requirements can be found on your coach dashboard in gotsport. https://system.gotsport.com/users/2416009
Please do not complete these until you are given a team. Tracy Jones will email you your instructions once you are approved to coach.

2026-2027 Competitive Tryout Schedule

Competitive Tryout Registration
Titusville Soccer Club offers competitive soccer for players ages U9–U19, with teams competing in the GCF league and traveling throughout Central Florida. The competitive registration fee is $350 and covers both fall and spring seasons, including approximately 18 games, coaching, team training, facilities, lights, league and referee fees, insurance, and background checks. Trophies are awarded at the end of the spring season. Please note that all new competitive players must purchase a uniform.
Teams are formed through a structured tryout and evaluation process. Returning players are also evaluated based on their performance during the current season. Placement is determined by factors such as player ability, age group, roster needs, and long-term development goals. Depending on participation, multiple teams may be formed within an age group. Final team decisions are made by our coaching staff along with the Competitive and Technical Directors. Participation in tryouts does not guarantee placement.
Tryouts for the 2026–2027 season will take place on:
-
May 4, 6, and 8: All girls’ age groups and Boys U14 & U15
-
May 5, 7, and 8: All other boys’ age groups (U9–U13, U16–U19)
*All players are required to attend every scheduled tryout session.

Referees must be a minimum of 14 years of age.
Being a referee in soccer comes with several benefits, which contribute to both personal growth and enjoyment of the sport. Here are some key benefits:
-
Deepening Knowledge of the Game: Refereeing requires a thorough understanding of the rules and regulations of soccer. As a referee, you continually deepen your knowledge of the game, including its nuances and interpretations of rules.
-
Leadership Skills: Referees are in charge of the match, making important decisions under pressure. This responsibility hones leadership skills, including decisiveness, fairness, and the ability to manage conflicts.
-
Decision-Making Under Pressure: Referees often face split-second decisions in high-pressure situations. This helps develop quick thinking and the ability to remain calm and composed under stress.
-
Contribution to the Community: Refereeing is a valuable contribution to the soccer community. By officiating matches, referees support the sport at various levels, from grassroots to professional leagues.
-
Income and Compensation: Refereeing can provide a source of income, particularly at higher levels of competition. Many referees enjoy the opportunity to earn money while being involved in a sport they love.
-
Love for the Game: Ultimately, many referees continue officiating because of their passion for soccer. Being on the field, contributing to fair play, and being part of the game’s excitement are deeply rewarding aspects of refereeing.
These benefits make refereeing a fulfilling activity for those passionate about soccer and looking to contribute actively to the sport.
Registration to become a referee starts after July 4th 2025

New Age Group Chart Starting Fall 2026
Fall 2026 - Spring 2027

With the exception of U5 and U6 Recreational Soccer is grouped by 2 birth years and Competitive Soccer is grouped by 1 birth year. TSC Rec currently has U5, U6, U8, U10, U12, U14, U16, and U19 age groups. The fall season is when players age up to the next birth year. Whichever age group your child plays in fall, they will also play in spring. If you'd like your U10 and above child to play up an age group, please request this in the comments section of your child's registration. Play up requests are only considered for the "true" age group player and only allowed if space in the next age group is available. In order to play U5 the child must be 4 by August 1st of the current fall season.
