Parents and Spectators are a much needed
part of Titusville Soccer Club!

We want all players to enjoy the games they play! Spectators are a big part of that for both teams!

We want to focus on development, sportsmanship, working as a team, character development, and most importantly, having fun!

How to Help
your Player Thrive

TSC Family Volunteer Commitment

Starting this season, families are required to complete 3 volunteer hours per family (not per player). This will replace the team assigned concession and field duty times.  At the beginning of the season, a registration will be sent out to all families for you to sign up for various volunteer opportunities around the club. You will be able to choose the day, time and task that best fits you and your family's schedule.

If you prefer not to volunteer, you may choose to pay the $50 Volunteer Opt-Out Fee during registration.  You may also reach out after registration if you wish to opt-out of the volunteer hours.

Families who do not complete their volunteer hours and do not pay the opt-out fee in advance will be invoiced $60 at the end of the season. Volunteer hours must be documented on official club sign-in sheets in order to receive credit.

If your volunteer hours do not get completed and you did not pay the Opt-Out Fee, your account will be marked "Not in Good Standing" until the $60 invoice is paid.

**If a parent/guardian registers to coach their player's team and is assigned to a team, that will fulfill your family's volunteer requirement and waive the $50 opt-out fee.

Coach Registration Link

As the season approaches we will post a sign-up link to register for various volunteer opportunities around the club.

Examples of possible volunteer opportunities include concession duty, field duty, game time helper, etc.

TSC has 18 fields to paint each week and Concession is open for 7-8 hours each Saturday. There is only one Field Manager and one Concession Director and we cannot do these tasks without the help of our TSC families.

We look forward to seeing you out on the fields!

Parent Code of Conduct

We have a responsibility to promote high standards of behavior in the game. Titusville Soccer Club wants to ensure soccer can be enjoyed in a safe and positive environment. Remember, youth soccer is a game for players to develop their technical, physical, tactical and social skills.

1. Winning isn’t everything.

2. Remember that children play for FUN.

3. Applaud effort and good play as well as success.

4. Always respect the referee decisions.

5. Remain outside the field of play and within the Designated Spectators’ Area

6. Let the coach do their job and not confuse the players by telling them what to do.

7. Encourage the players to respect the opposition, referee and other officials.

8. Avoid criticizing a player for making a mistake – mistakes are part of learning.

9. Never engage in, or tolerate, offensive, insulting, or abusive language or behavior.

Failure to abide by these standards may result in any of the following actions.

1. Verbal warning from game official or club official.

2. Be required to leave the match venue by the official or club.

3. Requested by the club not to attend future games.

4. Required to leave the club along with any dependents

Risk Management

All adults interacting with your players are fully risk managed - background checked, fingerprinted, safesport and concussion trained.

Sportsmanship

Spectators will treat all players, coaches and fellow spectators with respect. We want players to feel at home at TSC and a sense of community. These are children and this game is for them and only them. All spectators must abide by the code of conduct or they will be asked to leave the facility

Board Members

All board members are volunteers. They do not receive any discounts or compensation. If you have a complaint or suggestion, they are all open to hearing you, but please be courteous and remember that they are 100% volunteers.

Referees

We are experiencing a nationwide referee shortage due to verbal and at times physical abuse. The call the ref makes in the game is final. TSC is taking a zero tolerance on referee abuse. There will be consequences for the parties involved

Coaches

All coaches at TSC are volunteers. They will be treated with the kindness and respect they deserve. They are giving their time to coach your child, with no personal benefit. If you have an issue with a coach, you may respectfully address it with them. TSC recommends a 24-48 hour waiting period before addressing  a coach following practice or a game.

Mandatory Participation

TSC strives to be affordable to make the game of soccer available to all children. This is only possible because of club participation. Each family must either pay a $50 volunteer opt out fee or sign up and serve a miniumum of 3 volunteer hours each season.

GotSport App

You can find your team’s contact information, group chat, and schedule on the gotsport app. The app is free but you need to download it to your phone.  In order for your player's team information to populate, you must be listed as a parent on their online gotsport account along with your email.

PLEASE remember that the game schedule is subject to change and you need to check it each week.
